The producers of popular kiddies' series, Sesame Street have announced that they are in search of Nigerian-American kids for their upcoming special, filming in May, 2017.

According to the casting call posted the show's head of Child Talent, Carolyn Volpe, the spot is open to kids who are able to act, sing and represent their culture.

Her post read in part: "Sesame Street is creating a new special which we will ape in May 2017. We are looking for authentic Nigerian-American kids ages 9-14 to represent their culture who can sing and act...".
